Tegan Atkins (she/her) is an Australian and New Zealand writer living and working on unceded Wurundjeri land (Melbourne). Always was and always will be.
I grew up in Bundaberg on the lands of the Taribelang Bunda people & at seventeen moved to Meanjin/Brisbane where I completed a Bachelor of Journalism at Queensland University of Technology.
Currently I work with Writers Victoria in the beautiful State Library, providing admin support & assisting with running writing workshops. Writers Victoria is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting writers by offering vital resources, workshops and mentorship programs. It is a safe space for diverse creative souls to vibe.
My favourite tree is the eucalyptus regnans and I love animals, hot tea, reading in hammocks and hiking.
